2012 Kenyan Mission Update
Dear Friends and Family:
There is exactly TWO weeks until Zach and I leave for Nakuru, Kenya.Zach and
I both have blogs, be sure and check them out. Oh and if you feel led, please donate. You will not only be helping us, but also the church in Nakuru. I want to take the
I-See program to them, so that anyone who needs glasses can get them. Click
I-See to see more information about it; however if we don't raise enough money for it, I may be unable to the kit to them. :(
That's all I have for now - I will be working on blogging while we are gone and more often than I have been. Sorry for not keeping you updated.
God has opened up a door for us to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people in Nakuru, Kenya. You can share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for Zach, myself and our fellow team members. They will need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Kenya. We will also need prayers that our financial needs will be met. We have already covered, with our own resources, the air-fare of $3,000, Passports and Visa's, shots and other personal clothing needs. We want to thank our dear friends and family for graciously contributing a total of $650 so far towards our goal. We want to thank everyone for believing in the work that we are about to do. We still need to raise an additional $1,200 to complete this trip. $900 of that money goes directly towards the purchase of the I-See glasses kit. $400 of that is for our expenses in Kenya.
Could you can help provide some financial support for us with a small donation? We will need to raise all our funds by June 21st in order to pay for materials, food and living expenses while we are there. Would you consider assisting us financially with a donation of $25, $100, $250, $500 or any amount you could afford to give? If so, you can click on this link and
donate on-line here or your can donate by sending a check payable to
Rose Creek Village Ministries with a memo of "
2012 Mission Trip for Doug & Zach" and mail it to
Rose Creek Village Ministries, 999 Lola Whitten Road, Selmer, TN 38375.
Any personal gift, you might want to give, should be mailed to Doug or Zach Chamley, 822 Highlander Trail, Selmer, TN 38375.
Whether you feel led to contribute financially, through prayer, or both, all of your support is greatly appreciated. Your contributions to Rose Creek Village Ministries are tax deductible, but more than that, you will be helping to change the lives of many people who desperately need the life of Christ and a better way to live it.
God Bless You,
Doug Chamley
